Day 148: Painted Nails

Sunday, May 27th
Today Nick, Sam, Nate, and I visited our lovely Grandmother Vicki.  It was really fun hanging out with her (the cookies were definitely a bonus.)  Sam and I painted her fingernails.  They turned out pretty cute, if I do say so myself. It's been a good Sunday, and it's nice to not have school hanging over our heads for tomorrow.

Day 147: TV Time

Saturday, May Twenty Sixth

Came home from Orange Leaf to find my dad watching TV.  Like this.  You know, as hard as I try, I don't think I'll ever quite be able to fully understand this man that I call my father. :)

Day 146: Too Much Reading

Friday, May Twenty-Fifth.
Another late night reading.  It seems like now that I finally don't have any homework, I'm catching up for all the lost reading time during the year.

Day 145: Duck Duck Goose

Thursday, May Twenty-Fourth
Nate, Tyler, Raylee, and Oliver playing Duck Duck Goose.  Sometimes I really miss those days.

Day 144: Baseball

Wednesday, May Twenty Third
Nick is the MVP on his baseball team.  No doubt about it.

My half birthday was today...six months until I am eighteen.  That's weird.

Day 143: Chinese

The picture is on my phone, and I'll be getting it shortly. :)

Day 142: Doggy Sitting

Monday May, Twenty First
My blonde little sister is the neighborhood dog watcher.  Our parents (mom) refuse to get a dog when we still have kids in diapers, so Sammi just takes care of the neighborhood dogs. Sammi loves it, the neighbors love it, my parents love it, and the dogs love it.

Day 141: Roses Are Red

Taken on Sunday, May Twentieth
This is a red rose Sister Dixon gave each of the Young Women in class.  It was the "once every few months" lesson on marriage.  A red rose is a sign that someone loves you.

Day 140: Let it Be

Gosh  I'm really creative at 11:55 at night...

Day 139: It's Friday

Friday, May Eighteenth
Ping Pong Tournament during lunch! Davis was the student winner, then he played Mr. Anderson.  They played three games: Davis won one and Mr. Anderson won the other two.  It was really intense and fun to watch.

Mike also had a ballroom concert which was really fun to go watch.  Then went to U-Swirl and Five Guys after with Grandma, Celesta, Mom, and Nick!

Day 138: Sitting, Waiting, Wishing

Thursday, May Seventeenth
What do I do when I'm procrastinating my homework?  I have a photo-shoot with my sissy of course.  I put her in a basket and took her outside.  She didn't smile once while we were out there.  She did however stare at me with those big, penetrating eyes.

Day 137: Imagine

Wednesday, May Sixteenth
Happy Birthday B!

Another picture of the flowers my wonderful twin gave me.  They continue to brighten my room.

Day 136: Can't Help Falling in Love

Tuesday, May Fifteenth
Shatter Me.
I went to the library at 3:00 to check out this book.  By Midnight I had read all 338 pages.

Day 135: Baseball Time

Taken on Monday, May Fourteenth
This is Nick, the pitcher on his team.  The white dots surrounding him that look like snow are actually little cotton pieces that got in our eyes, noses, and mouths.

Day 134: Happy Mothers Day

This is my father trying to sleep on a hospital couch.  My Grandma Vicki is in the hospital again, so we went to visit her.  She's doing better and we went on a walk together.  It's a blessing to have a grandmother who is also a friend.  We went home and had our favorite, Chicken and Rice with Grandma (Ellen) Davis and Aunt Celesta.  It was a great mothers day spent with the people I love.

Day 133: The Day of Parties

This is my good friend, Michelle Snyder.  I'm lucky enough to be a fellow stu co member with her next year and needless to say, I'm very excited about it.  We had a barbecue at Gig's house complete with hamburgers, dodgeball, and a service project.  Then I ran home and got ready for the drama banquet.  We found out the plays for next year...
Hamlet and Harvey are the straight plays for drama 4!!!
Then second semester, MDT is going to be doing an original piece by Max Durrant and Alex Powell (Lehi Alumni) called "The P.O.W." about Ms. Nelsen's grandfather.  I'm so so excited for it, and hope I can be a part of it.

Day 132: My Twin

My twin is cooler than your twin.

Well the AP test is FINALLY DONE. Over. Finished. I have no more history homework and the relief is practically tangible.  I will miss the class, and I don't regret taking it. The test was SO LONG. I had a major headache after, but it was worth it.  I've learned so much, and it's fun when I can apply it to things I read, watch, or hear about.  Anyways, after the test our presidency had to decide next years drama presidency and it took us four hours after school. So when I got home, I was exhausted.  I went downstairs and was greeted with a delightful surprise: not only did Michael give me flowers and a note, but he also cleaned my room.  He cleaned my mirror, made my bed, put my clothes away, EVERYTHING.  I was so so surprised and it actually made me cry.  I am so blessed to have Mike as my twin.  I love him with all my heart.

Day 131: D Minus 1 Day

Thursday, May Tenth
D minus one day until D Day (APUSH Test.)  We were studying at Halea's house trying to cram the last bit of knowledge in before the test.

Day 130: Bro-Dawgs

Wednesday, May Ninth
My brothers are the coolest. Ever.

Day 129: The "Top Knot"

Tuesday, May Eighth
This one hairdo, the top knot or high bun, is one that I now depend on.  It is the easiest, most convenient thing for a person like me with more than two feet of straight, tangly hair that refuses to curl.  It's great because it's cute, keeps all the hair from getting in your face or from tickling your neck, and it's ridiculously easy.  The only downside is that I rarely do my hair anymore.

Day 128: Night Sky

Monday, May Seventh
The view from my front yard.

Day 127: Bed Time

Sunday, May Sixth
I hadn't taken a picture of the day, so I just decided to this lovely one right before bed. *Well that was easy.*

Day 126: Full Moon

Saturday, May Fifth
The moon is so beautiful and sometimes it's nice to just go outside and look at it.  Especially when it's a full moon.

Saturday, May 5, 2012

Day 125: Oh What A Day

Taken on Friday, May Fourth
One week until the AP test. Just think, this time next week I will free.

Thursday, May 3, 2012

Day 124: A Lack of Color

My earring from H&M in NYC.  Gotta love late night creativity.  I'm ready for summer.

Wednesday, May 2, 2012

Day 123: Sweet Dreams

This little baby isn't as little as he used to be.  He repeats everything we say so if we say "Brayden, say I'm a fatso."  He'll say "I'm a fatso."  He cried a lot for mom tonight so I went into his room and sang to him while he calmed down. He is such a sweetheart and I'm glad we're pretty much best friends.

Day 122: I Hope They Call Me On A Mission

Last night I went on a "mission" to China. (AKA the Lindsey's house.)  This is always one of my favorite activities we do as a youth each year because it gives us the experience of teaching the gospel.  It gives me an even greater desire to think about serving a mission.

Day 121: Homeworkkkk

Taken on Monday, April Thirtieth
I was doing my APUSH homework when I decided to take a picture just in case I forgot later in the day.  Well, I did forget but thankfully I have this lovely picture of my homework.  There's only D Minus 9 days until the AP test.  Then I'm DONE with AP History Homework.  HALLELUJAH.

Day 120: Sundays

Taken on Sunday, April Twenty Ninth
Sundays are my favorite because you get to take a break from the world.  You get to go to church (or in this case, Stake Conference.)  You get to hang out with your next door neighbors who are more like family than friends.  This Sunday was no exception.  After church we hung out in the Michaelises backyard taking pictures, jumping on the tramp, swinging on the swings, and enjoying the great weather.  The picture I took is of Jacob, Sarah, and my little baby brother.  I love how they almost look like a little family.

Day 119: PROM

Taken on Saturday, April Twenty Eighth
The worst part about this picture is that the wind blew the petal right when I was taking it, so it's  slightly crooked.  But what can you do?  This was taken the night of prom.  It was such a great night that was "ALL ABOUT US!"  We went to Olive Garden for dinner and the nice manager, Mike, gave my whole table donuts for my half birthday that was a week ago.  (After he gave us the donuts, I realized my half birthday is NEXT month.  I felt really bad about it.)  Prom this year was at the capital and let me tell you: it was BEAUTIFUL!  Walking down those marbel steps in my pretty cream dress, linking arms with a handsome young man, made me feel like a princess.  The whole night was absolutely magical.  We danced our little hearts out and then had Crepes at the Crabb's house. It was definitely a night I will never forget.

Day 118: Day Date

Taken on Friday April Twenty Seventh
Gotta love the blurry phone picture taken at 11:00 at night because no other picture was taken that day.  This was me and Josh on our "day date" for prom.  It was really a night date and we went to Extreme Air Sports.  So I guess you could say it was a very enjoyable night-day date.

Day 117: Crossed

Taken on Thursday, April Twenty Sixth
Another day of reading.  For some reason I just can't seem to put a book down once I pick it up. Crossed was no exception.
