Day 198: My Birthday

July 7th, 2012
I love when the time is my birthday.  November 23rd. :)

Day 197: The Big Cut

July 6th, 2012
Well I did it.  Cut off 12 inches of my hair.  It feels so liberating and I LOVE IT.

Day 196: Beautiful Day

July 5th, 2012
This is me and Alaina in a pretty mountain area above SLC. We went up to take pictures of my long hair before I cut it all off. (If anyone asks, we were not in middle of the road.)

Day 195: Freedom, Independence, Liberty

July 4th, 2012
I could have posted a picture of a really pretty, bright firework.  But I really like the way the firework is fuzzy.  So HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!

Day 194: Lemonade on a hot summer day

July 3rd, 2012
Brayden loves to smile while drinking lemonade from the lemonade stand.  That big puffy thing behind that house that looks like a cloud? That's the smoke from the fire in Alpine.  Utah is literally on fire.

Day 193: A ball of cheese

July 2nd, 2012
I have a secret. I am in love with the moon.

Day 192: This is Me

July 1st, 2012
Hello, my name is Bekah Boyd and I do take pictures of myself sometimes.  This was one of those times.

Day 191: Going Home

June 30th, 2012
We rode the bus home; while the pioneers walked the whole distance.  They probably didn't stop for ice cream on the way home like we did.  This is one of the only pictures I took on Saturday.  It's my good friend, James Coca in his straw hat.

Day 190: Trekkin'

June 29th,2012
The Pioneers of the Lehi 26th Ward.  This was at the end of our 10 mile trek.  We were all dirty, sweaty, and exhausted. But we had a camp to go back to with dinner waiting for us, and the pioneers had to set up and make their own dinners then do the exact same thing the next day.  It really is remarkable what the pioneers did. I'm so grateful for their example and sacrifice.

Day 189: Sweetwater Crossing

June 28th, 2012
This is the Sweetwater River that the priests carried us across.  It was one of the most spiritual places on trek and I can't imagine trying to cross it in the middle of the winter with ice chunks flowing through the 2 feet of water.

Day 188: Setting up Camp

June 27th, 2012
It was really windy in Wyoming and as you can see from the lovely picture above, the tents flew a lot while setting them up.

Day 187: A Modern Pioneer

June 26th, 2012
Getting in the mood for trek. (Don't judge.)

Day 186: My Long Lost Journal

June 25th, 2012
Found my old journal that has about 4 months of my life in it.  What a great find.

Day 185: Scripture Study

June 24th, 2012
Sammi fell asleep while reading her scriptures tonight.

Day 183: Sunset in American Fork

June 22nd, 2012
Went on a walk with my grandma to get cake and took some pictures of the sunset.

Day 182: Nostalgia

June 21st, 2012
These are the crystals on my grandma's lamp. They remind me of when she used to live in St. George and I thought they were so cool when I was five and six.

Day 181: Black Amethyst Lotion

June 20th, 2012
This lotion literally saved me during St. George. We ate, slept, swam, lathered up the lotion, and watched TV.

Day 180: 100 degree weather

June 19th, 2012
I love that the building in the background is distorted by the heat wave.

Day 179: Sunset in St. George

June 18th, 2012
The sunsets in St. George are beautiful.

Day 178: Midnight Snack

June 17th, 2012
This is what vacations are all about.

Day 177: That's my Twin

June 16th, 2012
I think the picture says it all.

Day 176: Light in the Dark

June 15th, 2012
This is the view from the condo in St. George. Pretty, eh?

Day 175: St. Georgy

June 14th, 2012
This is the bedroom that I shared with Brayden and Sammi.  It was a party.

Day 174: The View From my Backyard

June 13th, 2012
Ventured outside for the picture today.

Day 160: Homework in the Summer

June 8th, 2012
Spent my week studying for the ACT, well mostly procrastinating my studying for the ACT.

Day 159: Finally catching up!

June 7th, 2012
This is the fabric of the new dress I got from Target for 15 dollars.  It was the first time I've really gone shopping in a long time.

Sunday, June 10, 2012

Day 158: Heart of Pearls

Wednesday, June 6th
This is my pearl necklace from NYC.  In a heart shape.

Day 157: Up Close

Tuesday, June 5th
This is one of my cute scarves.  I just couldn't resist getting a picture of it.

Day 156: Be Ok

Monday, June 4th
This is the universal sign for okay, right?

Day 156: Giant Tarps...

Monday, June 4th
Spent Monday with Student Council trying to clean this beast of a tarp.  It was actually pretty fun! A great beginning for the first official day of Summer.

Day 155: Chapstick

Sunday, June 3rd
Carmex is one of my top five addictions.  I don't know what I would do without it.

Sunday, June 3, 2012

Day 154: Eet

Saturday, June 2nd
Yesterday was Maria's going away party at Bill's.  He favorite food is Oreos.  So in her honor, the picture of the day is of an Oreo.  I ate way too many yesterday.

Day 153: Unbreakable

Friday, June 1st
Well the day has arrived: I am officially half way done with the picture challenge.  Isn't that crazy?  On Friday, Brayden and I went on a walk around the neighborhood.  We stopped to look at the horses and they started running towards us.  Little Bray Bray was really scared of them.  I thought they were beautiful.

Day 152: Everything Dies

Thursday, May 31st
My dying rose.  It's still beautiful.

Day 151: Graduation 2012

Wednesday, May 30th
Went to graduation on Wednesday.  It was so crazy to see some of my best friends graduate.  They are sure going to be missed.

Day 150: He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not

Tuesday, May 29th
I love photo shoots with my sissy. :)

Day 149:

Another phone pic.  Soon to be posted.

Sunday, May 27, 2012

Day 148: Painted Nails

Sunday, May 27th
Today Nick, Sam, Nate, and I visited our lovely Grandmother Vicki.  It was really fun hanging out with her (the cookies were definitely a bonus.)  Sam and I painted her fingernails.  They turned out pretty cute, if I do say so myself. It's been a good Sunday, and it's nice to not have school hanging over our heads for tomorrow.

Day 147: TV Time

Saturday, May Twenty Sixth

Came home from Orange Leaf to find my dad watching TV.  Like this.  You know, as hard as I try, I don't think I'll ever quite be able to fully understand this man that I call my father. :)

Day 146: Too Much Reading

Friday, May Twenty-Fifth.
Another late night reading.  It seems like now that I finally don't have any homework, I'm catching up for all the lost reading time during the year.

Day 145: Duck Duck Goose

Thursday, May Twenty-Fourth
Nate, Tyler, Raylee, and Oliver playing Duck Duck Goose.  Sometimes I really miss those days.

Day 144: Baseball

Wednesday, May Twenty Third
Nick is the MVP on his baseball team.  No doubt about it.

My half birthday was today...six months until I am eighteen.  That's weird.

Day 143: Chinese

The picture is on my phone, and I'll be getting it shortly. :)

Day 142: Doggy Sitting

Monday May, Twenty First
My blonde little sister is the neighborhood dog watcher.  Our parents (mom) refuse to get a dog when we still have kids in diapers, so Sammi just takes care of the neighborhood dogs. Sammi loves it, the neighbors love it, my parents love it, and the dogs love it.

Day 141: Roses Are Red

Taken on Sunday, May Twentieth
This is a red rose Sister Dixon gave each of the Young Women in class.  It was the "once every few months" lesson on marriage.  A red rose is a sign that someone loves you.

Sunday, May 20, 2012

Day 140: Let it Be

Gosh  I'm really creative at 11:55 at night...

Day 139: It's Friday

Friday, May Eighteenth
Ping Pong Tournament during lunch! Davis was the student winner, then he played Mr. Anderson.  They played three games: Davis won one and Mr. Anderson won the other two.  It was really intense and fun to watch.

Mike also had a ballroom concert which was really fun to go watch.  Then went to U-Swirl and Five Guys after with Grandma, Celesta, Mom, and Nick!

Day 138: Sitting, Waiting, Wishing

Thursday, May Seventeenth
What do I do when I'm procrastinating my homework?  I have a photo-shoot with my sissy of course.  I put her in a basket and took her outside.  She didn't smile once while we were out there.  She did however stare at me with those big, penetrating eyes.

Day 137: Imagine

Wednesday, May Sixteenth
Happy Birthday B!

Another picture of the flowers my wonderful twin gave me.  They continue to brighten my room.
