Got a little crazy playing Egyptian Rat Slap with the family tonight. My mom stabbed me with her thumb nail; we're not competitive at all. We decided that everyone was hovering too much, so for a little while we had to slap our foreheads before we could slap the cards. Ahaha, it was a good time. After Mike, Mal, and I went to U-Swirl (2 cents per ounce cheaper than Orange Leaf)...COUSINS DATE!

Day 90: What a Good Day
Today I wore my thermal socks. They seem to make everything better with their warmth. I had such a great day: became photographer for Student Council next year (!!!!!!!), got through a whole day of school without my head imploding, and tried out for Drama Four. It's one of the more stressful days I've had, but it was worth it. Seeing my name on the Student Council was so gratifying and I'm still a little nervous about Drama 4 auditions. I'm pretty confident I'll make it (because Ms. Nelson said I would)...but then again you never know. :)

Day 89: Up
This is how Mike replied to Megan for MORP. It was an extremely long ribbon so the balloons were high up there. Gosh, my twin is a genius. Today was a pretty good day. I went to school. Survived. Had my meeting for appointed position for student council and I ran for photographer and fine arts rep. I really hope I get photographer, though, because it would be so much fun (and really busy, but I'm up for the challenge.) I know I would improve my photography skills by a lot. And I would have a chance to serve on student council! I also worked on my Drama 4 auditions...they're tomorrow. Needless to say, I am nervous. I don't really have any reason to be, since Nelsen said you pretty much have to go into the audition and say "screw you" to not make it if you were already a junior this year (which I was.) But I'm still nervous. And also excited. The appointed position will be posted after school tomorrow. Just crossing my fingers.
Day 88: Fire Alarms
I know Fire Alarms are good and could possibly save my life one day. But when Fire Alarms are low on battery, they are bloody annoying. The one in the hallway isn't so bad, but the one in my room makes me want to run around in circles plugging my ears with it's constant one minute chirpings. I need to figure out how to fix it.

Day 87: Feet.
Why are Taylor's feet my picture of the day? Well, I went to the softball game and since I'm obsessed with different perspectives, I took some of their feet. Today my feet took me to school (math test, anyone?) They took me to drama, and then Chinese, then lunch, then AP History. After school there was a meeting for Appointed student council (there are about 50 people running for 15 spots.) I'm running for Photographer (WOOH!) and Fine Arts (WOOH times TWO!) It's going to be interesting to see who gets what positions and I just need to remember that whatever happens is what's best for me and all I can do is my best. :) There was also a choir concert today and it was really fun to combine choirs with the jr. highs. All in all, I took about 200 pictures today. What a good day!

Day 86: Time for Bed
I didn't know what to take a picture of tonight and decided to take one while brushing my teeth. I'm always up for new experiences and this was definitely a new experience. I've never taken a picture of myself brushing my teeth before. Don't Judge.
Day 85: Popcorn Popping on the Apricot Tree
Yesterday was such a beautiful day so I grabbed the camera and went outside. The bees were pollinating like crazy. It was fun trying to get a picture of one! It must be spring-time! :)
Day 84: Chalk Fight
Traffic was ridiculous. Had to walk a mile and half after we parked. It was hot. We wore the wrong shoes. Everything got chalky. The car broke down. BUT it was all worth it. Festival of Colors was really fun. I especially enjoyed celebrating Holi Kreshna with two of my favorite people: Alaina and Sarah. It was cool going to the Indian temple and experiencing a celebration of a religion other than my own. There were quite a lot of people there which made it more stressful than it should have been, but it was interesting to see the kinds of people who came out. Meeting a man from India at Orange Leaf after helped us understand the reason for Holi Kreshna. It was a great day!

Day 83: The Games
"May the odds be ever in your favor."
Hunger Games tonight with Bill and Maria. With a mother who decided to nurse her baby right by Bill, and Maria's many loud exclamations and squeals, it was a very interesting (but fun) time. It didn't measure up to the book of course, but they did a pretty darn good job. I'd have to say I liked it. A lot. I had a hard time adjusting to Josh Hutcherson as Peeta, but that was about the only thing I had a problem with. And Katniss' hair while she was on fire. It was supposed to be in a braid but it looked like Princess Leia's. I started to read "Catching Fire" when I got home, and I couldn't help but picture Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss. Great.

Day 82: Another Day in the Life
Well it's the day before the term ends. I have four A-'s. So what did I do to get my grades up? I went to the tennis match to take pictures of course! Jacob totally dominated. I was proud. It was fun to get some action shots of the tennis team. Then I went home and finished my assignments for math, ate oreos, and held my little sissy.

Day 81: Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood
The weather was beautiful today and I couldn't resist taking some pictures outside. Sammi was having a lot of fun riding her bike. I couldn't help thinking of my childhood when we used to have bike races from the Bell's house, around the culdesac, and back to the Bell's; oh the memories. (Took the mock exam today. The average score was 38/60. I got 37. What a bummer.)

Day 79: Manic Monday
Highlight of my day: Sammi reading her "autobiography" to our family and saying I was her hero. I know I complain a lot about "not having a sister my age" but I wouldn't trade that little blondie for anything. Then Mike and I stayed upstairs and played a game of speed that turned into 4 games. (Michael had to keep playing until he won.)

Day 78: Clean at last!
My big project this weekend was getting my room all cleaned and organized. It feels so good. Now I just have to keep it like this..

Day 76: Friday, Friday, Friday
Well, the week is finally over! It has possibly been the longest week of my life, and even though I didn't make Student Body President, I learned a lot. Last night Halea Walker, Josh Black, and I had some grand adventures and this picture explains just one of them. This is up on Sun Crest overlooking the beautiful view of the Salt Lake Valley. If you can't tell, that's Josh Black's silhouette in the lights.

Day 73: What The?
Today while practicing my competition piece for drama, I noticed some small red dots on my arm. My first thought was that I had a disease (chicken pox??) then I realized it was red pen. I figured out that one of my nervous ticks is to draw dots. On my body. That's a new one.

Day 71: Finished Poster!
I know this isn't very creative, but it was a big day yesterday and I wanted to show a picture of my poster! I've just been so busy with the elections and after making it into the finals, I had to make two new posters. We find out the results on Friday, and I'm excited to see what happens! :)

Day 66: Here Comes The Wind
We're possibly the cutest twins ever. This was right after Solo and Ensemble while we were braving the wind to our car. It came out of nowhere and it's still going!

Day 65: Saying Goodbye
Well it's that time again; time to cut my nails. They are so pretty when they're long but they make playing the piano very difficult and I usually end up ripping them.

Day 64: It's Been a Long Day
Day recap in 100 words or less: This little munchkin was blessed today. I bore my testimony which felt great. Then choir. Came home and watched Joseph: King of Dreams (nostalgia, anyone?) Headed to Youth Choir. Played the piano with Ty. Came home. Ate dinner. Worked on campaign stuff. (Have I mentioned that I'm running for Student Body President? Well, the rumors are true. I am running.) And now I am going to bed.

Day 63: Portable Charger, Anyone?
It's pretty sad that I am too lazy to bend down and plug my phone into my charger. I usually end up running out the door with a dying phone grabbing my Sparq so my phone won't die. So today I am grateful for my lovely little Sparq. The portable device that gives my phone juice. Thank you, kind friend, for never failing me.
Day 62: Winter Has Arrived
Walked outside yesterday and Humphrey was covered in snow. Poor Humphrey. We had to drive my dad's car to school, it was crazy. It's quite unfortunate that the snow couldn't have come three months ago, when all I was wishing for was a white Christmas.
