Tonight Brayden was attempting to eat his dinner with chopsticks.

Day 28: Brian Regan with the Fam
Tonight my family and I went to see Brian Regan..such a great way to spend a Saturday night! And isn't my Grandma just the cutest?

Day 27: I Can Hear the Bells
We had the privilege of walking around BYU campus today. This is the bell tower. It was a great UTA conference and I'm really glad I was able to be part of it!
Day 26: UTA
Today I spent the day at BYU for the Utah Theater Association Conference! It was SO MUCH FUN. I went on a "date" and we shared this icecream, met some awesome new people (when you throw hundreds of drama students together, friendships are bound to be made), watched the "Impact" show with some really well done pieces, and ended the night with "The Elephant Man." There were only 40 seats available and we were lucky enough to get five of them. I was lucky to get one of the five tickets and I'm SO GLAD I did, because it was BRILLIANT. The best show I have ever seen done on stage (or one of the best, hands down.) It was so good. AHHH. My life is changed forever.

Day 23: Chinese New Year
恭禧發財
Happy Chinese New Year!! Jacob and I with our hearty appetites decided to make dumplings after school today. No, they were not homemade and yes, we still managed to burn them. But burned or not, they were still delicious.

Day 22: 100 Years
I took this outside the Conference Center today. It was the celebration or commemoration of 100 years of seminary. Not only did I get to listen to President Boyd K. Packer speak, I got to listen to him from about 17 rows from the front. It was incredible. My favorite part was when President Monson, President Eyring, and President Uchtdorf walked in. A sudden hush filled the room and everyone stood up. I could see the Prophet's smiling face and the way he acknowledged everyone. All the other parts were great too, and I felt so grateful and proud to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I wish I could capture that feeling into a picture. I guess this will have to do for now.

Day 21: True Love
These two wonderful models are my parents. After 21 years of marriage and seven kids, they still have time to sit down and eat (cereal?) together. I love 'em.

Day 20: Love my Cheese Steaks
Today in History we learned that "phil" means love. I went home and made my own version of a Philly Cheese Steak. So this literally means "Love" Cheese Steak. Mmmmm.

Day 16: Old School.
After doing five hours of tech work at the high school, I decided to take a little stroll down Main Street.

Day 15: What Would Jesus Do?
Brianne and I (with a little help from her family) made these "What Would Jesus Do" bracelets for our lesson today. They turned out pretty cute if I do say so myself.

Day 14: Fenced in.
I was trying to get some cool pictures of the horse behind my work today when I noticed the fence. I really liked the way it looked with the blurry horse in the background.
Day 13: Friday the Thirteenth
My finished, 35 minute essay for Ap History. We got them back today during class and my score was better than I was expecting which was a pleasant surprise. It's been a really long and stressful semester, so that was a great way to end it on a good note. This now means that I am halfway done with my junior year, and, more importantly, halfway done with HIGH SCHOOL! (Since high school here is just sophmore, junior, and senior.)

Day 12: A pair of boots.
"You can never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view..."
~To Kill a Mockingbird
So take a minute before you judge someone and walk a mile (or two) in their shoes, in this case boots, and you might just see them from a different perspective.

Day 11: Man in the Moon?
The moon was calling my name tonight, and I couldn't resist. After doing the proper research, I can expertly hypothesize that this moon is on it's way to becoming a Waning Gabbous. (I think.)

Day 10: Buckle Up!
Em just really wanted to be safe on the way home from Arby's so she chose to sit in the car seat. Hey, better safe than sorry!

Day 9: January 9, 2012
A beautiful winter sunset peeking through the trees in the backyard of my work. God is truly an artist.

Day 7: January 7, 2012
Brayden with his cute little clip-on tie at Sammi's baptism. It was such a spiritual/emotional day with Mike having the opportunity to baptize Sam.

Day 6: January 6, 2012
My neighbors exchange student from Spain, Maria, has been begging me to let her come over and hold my little sissy...and today she was finally able to. It makes me happy that I have friends who love my little siblings ALMOST as much as I do.

Day 5: January 5, 2012
With the APUSH test taken (35 minutes to write an essay, and 40 minutes for 60 multiple choice questions), I now have time to practice my festival songs. Yay!! (Gotta love the self timer.)

Day 4: January 4, 2012
My Ap US History (APUSH) textbook. We have our final exam for the term tomorrow and I'm REALLY stressed.

Day 3: January 3, 2012
So I realize that this isn't the most artistic picture, but it was just too embarrassing to not post. Today at lunch I may or may not have spilled applesauce all over Dallin's shirt...I felt really bad, and as much as I tried, paper napkins just aren't very good at cleaning up applesauce. Thankfully he's a really nice guy and hopefully won't hold any hard feelings towards me.

Day 2: January 2, 2012
Found these funky veggies in the backyard of my work. Such a beautiful FALL or SPRING day in, wait, January? Yes. It's true. It definitely did not feel or look like winter outside. Global warming anyone?

Day 1: January 1, 2012
Happy New Years!! I took this right after midnight with my friend, Josh, who is heading to BYU in a few days. He's really made cross country fun this year with his funny sense of humor and great personality. We're really going to miss him.
